I love to paint and am especially drawn to still life and landscapes. Trees are especially compelling subjects.

 

I began studying drawing and watercolor in 2002 after a long career as an English teacher and administrator at Trinity School in Manhattan. I have studied at the Art Students League and at the National Academy. I also find workshops and transcription exercises useful and informative.

 

My work has been chosen for juried exhibitions and has been sold to private collectors.
